Roads and Highways ministry has denied earlier publications that the Buipe bridge will be closed to traffic.
The publication indicated that the bridge will be closed to traffic on Friday 6 January, 2023 will be opened in March 8, 2023, and subsequently closed again the next day from 2pm to 6am on March 10, 2023.
In a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations at the ministry, it emphasised it has not signed or issued any statement to that effect and therefore urged the public to disregard it.
