The Kwahu East District Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled (GSPD) of the Eastern region has denied reportage that suggests members are requesting for their individual accounts to be credited with disability fund.
In s statement issued on Thursday, January 5, 2023, the district GSPD has revealed the Chairperson is Madam Comfort Dedaa and not Kingsley Boateng as earlier published on an Accra-based online portal.
“The fund is therefore not meant for sharing into individual accounts of PWDs but rather to empower us with various skills, provide educational support to PVD students, support PWDs with startup tools and equipment and provide medical support, including assistive devices” the statement added.
It is therefore calling on PWDs and the general public to see the publication as false and untrue.
