Head of the Centre’s Diaspora Investment Desk at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Marina Lamptey, participated in a forum for students from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Services (SFS) and School of Business & Global Affairs (BGA) last week.
The forum, organized by Hilltop Global (Pvt) Ltd, a diaspora-led organization, had in attendance representatives from the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, the Africa Continental Free Trade Area Policy Network, and the Northern Development Authority.
Discussions focused on Ghana’s socioeconomic opportunities and challenges, with Ms. Lamptey providing an overview of the Centre and its role in promoting Ghana’s economic development.
She further highlighted the work of the Diaspora Investment Desk and how diasporas could leverage the Desk to become a part of Ghana’s economic transformation.
