Renowned Gambian kora virtuso Jaliba Kuyateh
Renowned Gambian kora virtuso Jaliba Kuyateh will on Thursday 19th January 2023 be honoured by Goldsmith University with an honorary doctorate for his service to music.
The doctorate will be conferred upon the musician to acknowledge the important role he played in a research project which explores the role of participartory music to support perinatal mental health.
Jaliba is expected to receive this honour at a graduation ceremony in Westminster.
