After the 66th Independence Anniversary celebration in Ho, Sports minister, Mustapha Ussif had the honour of seeing off, on behalf of H.E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Special Guest of Honour for the occasion, H.E. Umaro Sissoco Embaló, President of Guinea-Bissau and Chairman of ECOWAS, as he departed Ghana for Bissau.
H.E. Umaro Sissoco Embaló arrived in the country on Sunday and later joined President Akufo-Addo at the Accra Sports stadium to witness the President’s cup as part of the independence celebration.
He, however, left the country on Tuesday March 7 after the main event on Monday at Ho.
The minister was the one who received the ECOWAS chairman on Sunday at the Airport.
