The Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah commissioned a new building to house the Somanya High Court which has been operating in a temporary building for some years now.
The new complex which was funded from the Municipal Assembly’s Common Fund is located near the Somanya Community Centre at Sra, Somanya.
Information gathered from the Facebook page of the Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly page indicated that the Municipality which was established on 6th February 2012 by a Legislative Instrument (LI) 2051 covers a space of about 805 square kilometres.
The Municipality has 44 electoral areas, a constituency and falls under one Paramountcy.
