The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reiterated that the cedi has been buffeted and inflation is on the rise.
He said, though the economy was doing very well until Covid-19 and the war in Ukraine took us off course.
According to him, Ghana has been the fastest-growing economy for three years in a row now.
“In three years, we have reduced inflation to the lowest level”
The president made this statement when he was delivering 2023 state of the Nation address on Wednesday, 8th 2023.
