The Confederations of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament will begin on January 13, 2024, in Ivory Coast.
The tournament which was due to take place between June and July this year was postponed to 2024 in a bid to avoid Ivory Coast’s rainy season.
The opening match will be played on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan.
Meanwhile, the four-week tournament’s final will be played on February 11, 2024.
