The Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben North, Madam Comfort Asante has inspected ongoing projects in the municipality to access the progress of work.
The MCE also used the visit to access the quality of work and further interacted with contractors executing those projects.
Speaking to the media after the tour, Madam Comfort Asante was satisfied with the progress of work and was optimistic the projects would be completed as scheduled.
She assured people within the municipality of the Assembly’s commitment in ensuring developmental projects are equally shared among all communities.
“The Assembly is committed to providing quality education and health care, improved livelihood, provision of basic amenities, security as well as job creation to benefit all citizens ” the MCE stated.
Projects inspected includes; Jumapo Health Centre Administration block, Asokore health centre, Asokore Salvation Army and Effiduase R/C KG blocks as well as Effiduase market stalls, which are all at various stages of completion.
The MCE was accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Municipal Budget Officer, Municipal Planning Officer, Municipal Engineer and others.
Meanwhile, some market women at the Effiduase market were grateful to the Assembly for the construction of market stalls but requested that those who were previously occupying would be first considered.
However, the MCE in a sharp response urged the market women to submit proposals to the Assembly for vetting and further allocations.
