The former President H.E John Dramani Mahama has stated that the greatest fear of the NPP is him going to be elected as the Flag-bearer of the NDC leading to the 2024 elections.
The former President argued that because of that fear the NPP communicators and party members have resorted to dictating who should be the Flag-bearer of the NDC.
The former President said the actual truth is that the NPP is afraid of him and none of their Presidential aspirant hopefuls can match him.
Adding that the NPP cannot dictate who should lead the NDC therefore they should think about their party.
He made this know during his visit to Asuogyaman Constituency as part of the day one of the tour to the Eastern region.
The former President urged all parliamentary Aspirant Hopefuls to tolerate each other’s view in their bid to be elected as Parliamentary candidates for the party.
He said the needed support should be giving to anyone who emerges as winner after the parliamentary primaries and forge the battle ahead of the main general elections.
The MP for Asuogyaman Hon. Thomas Ampem Nyarko said all indication is tilted towards the victory of the NDC in 2024 and the former President John Dramani Mahama will be the next President of Ghana.
He said the NPP government have borrowed more than any government in the forth republic but have not put it into any useful use.
Hon. Thomas Ampem Nyarko also accused the NPP government of failing to give credit to President Mahama and the NDC government for the recently commissioned railway line constructed from Tema to Mpakadan since the contract was secured by the former President John Dramani Mahama.
