On Friday, 14th April, 2023, a delegation from Aker Energy Ghana Limited, led by their Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Khadijah Amoah submitted the company’s Plan of Development (PoD) in respect of their Pecan Field prospects to Energy ministry.
Energy minister, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh indicated the Ministry of Energy’s commitment to sound investor relations, pursuant to our efforts at the judicious exploitation of our hydrocarbon resources for the benefit of Ghanaians and even generations yet unborn.
“Government is committed to providing an enabling environment for investor confidence in our upstream petroleum industry, anchored on a robust legal and regulatory framework to ensure that as a country we obtain the full benefits of this important resource” he added.
