The Commanding Officer of the Danish Special Operations Command – Major General Peter Boysen, paid a working visit to Ghana.
The General met with Ghana’s Chief of Defence Staff – Vice Admiral Seth Amoama and the Chief of Naval Staff – Rear Admiral Issah Yakubu, to discuss the Maritime Security Programme in the Gulf of Guinea.
The visit reaffirmed the good relationship and cooperation between Ghana and Denmark on maritime security, which will be further strengthened in the coming years.
The General was accompanied by the Danish Defence Attaché to Ghana – Col. Lasse Sand, who oversees the programme that will run until 2026.
