This project is in fulfillment of a manifesto pledge to the chiefs and people of the Western Region by the New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom) during the 2016 electioneering campaign.
It is aimed at making the Western Region the hub of the petrochemical industries in West Africa Sub-Region.
