The Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper West Akyem Constituency in the Eastern Region, Mr. Francis Bonsi has called on Government to engage beneficiaries of the Nations Builders Corp in education on the use of hand sanitizers and regular hand washing as a deadly disease, coronavirus keep on spreading.
He emphasized on the need for the public to be educated on the essence of regular hand washing and avoiding public gathering to avert the spread of the disease.
Commenting on government directives to avert the spread of coronavirus in Ghana, Mr. Francis Bonsi, commanded the government for taken bold steps and called on the government to as matter of urgency deploy NABCo Heal-Ghana personals to move to lorry stations and market places to educate Ghanaians on the disease and precautionary measures.
He called on the Ministry of Transport to hold meetings with the various transport unions in the Country to the reduced number of passengers they take to avert the spread and proposed incentive packages for the unions who will adhere to the orders.
The communications officer also called on National Buffer Stock Company to release food to the market at affordable prices to avert famine and urged farmers in the Country to commit them by producing more at this critical period to boost Agriculture.
Moreover, he called on parents to quarantine their kinds in the house to avoid absorbing the deadly disease as they are in holidays and appealed to parents to support their kids to keep on studying at home until School reopens.
