Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, the Mid-Year Budget Review is anticipated to be presented to Parliament.
As the business statement for the following week in Parliament was being presented, Lydia Seyram Alhassan, the First Deputy Majority Whip, made the announcement.
“In pursuant to the Public Financial Management Act 2016, At 921 the Minister for Finance is expected to present the mid-year review of the budget statement on Economy Policy of the Government of Ghana for the year 2023 financial to this house on Tuesday, July 26, 2023,” she stated.
The Minister of Finances for Finance, Education, Food, and Agriculture is scheduled to inform Parliament on the difficulties facing the National Food Buffer Stock Company on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
This comes after the Speaker instructed the House Business Committee to schedule the Ministers over the National Food Suppliers Association’s picketing at the Food Buffer Stock Company over a debt the government owes them.
