The new National Executives of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong at the Foreign Ministry on Friday 25th August, 2023.
The delegation was led by the President of the GJA, Mr. Albert Dwumfour, who expressed his association’s readiness to deepen collaboration and explore new areas of cooperation with the Foreign Ministry in the fields of capacity building, and further engagements with the Diplomatic Community.
He further expressed appreciation to the Ministry for extending support to the Association for its participation in the upcoming African Media Convention in 2024 .
He further outlined some of the achievements of his administration.
On his part, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Ampratwum-Sarpong took the opportunity to congratulate the new executives for being elected to steer the affairs of the Association.
The Deputy Minister reassured the Executives of the Ministry’s commitment to cooperate with the media to advance the country’s development.
