Samira Bawumia, the second Lady had a great time interacting with pupils drawn from parts of Accra.
It was part of the commemoration of the International Literacy Day and the launch of the “Accra Book Flood” Project, at the National Children and Mobile Library.
This is a collaborative initiative by the Samira Empowerment and Humanitarian Projects, The Ghana Library Authority, Ghana Education Service, UNESCO, and Book Aid International, a London-based charity.
“The Accra Book Flood” Project is an initiative to drive an exponential contribution of books, in an attempt to increase the book inventory of our public libraries across the country, especially Greater Accra.
