Former Hearts of Oak defender Dan Quaye has expressed displeasure about the performance of the club in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Phobians has been in dismal form so far this season, leading to the sacking of Dutch trainer Martinus Koopman after just 10 games in charge.
The Ghanaian giants have managed just two wins, losing two and drawing six games out of the 10 games played so far.
Speaking to Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Dan Quaye bemoaned lack of experienced players in the team, which is why they are struggling in the ongoing campaign.
“Hearts of Oak need experienced players to excel. To wear Hearts of Oak jersey is not something easy just like any other traditional club in the country, however, when you are privilege to play for such clubs you need to give your all”
“The reality is that, situations at Heart of Oak and Kotoko are different but I’m sure that with time things will change for Hearts of Oak”
