Royal Mama Cita (RMC) Family Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Koforidua, the Eastern regional capital, has donated to inmates in Koforidua prisons.
Items including bags of sachet water, bar of soaps, detergents, toothpastes, toothbrushes, mosquito repellants, dresses and many others were donated to the inmates in Koforidua prisons.
The Founder of RMC Family Foundation and Host of Wadwuma Ne Sen on Bryt 99.1 FM, famously known as Royal Mama Cita expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the inmates and the prisons authorities for receiving items.
Royal Mama Cita promised to revisit the Koforidua prisons with her team in their next donation.
The Deputy Director of Prisons and Acting Eastern Regional Commander, Christopher Hayibor extoled the RMC Family Foundation for their support.
He called on NGOs and donors to join hands with Koforidua prisons to help serve inmates with basic needs.
Christopher Hayibor indicated that the items by the RMC Family Foundation will improve the lives of the prisoners.
RMC Family Foundation collaborated with Joy Industries and some individuals.
