As part of mutual collaboration received from the Mamfe community in the Eastern region, MTN Ghana has supported the Mamfe Traditional Council to help promote cultural celebration in the area.
MTN Ghana has donated an amount of GH₵10,000, GH₵1000 amount of airtime and many other provisions to Mamfe Traditional Council for the Ohum festival celebration.
MTN Ghana has been supporting the Mamfe Ohum festival for the past twenty years in the region.
Corporate Communications Manager for MTN Ghana, Efua Falconer explained that MTN is collaborating with the traditional council to promote Ohum festival and cultural programs in Mamfe.
Efua Falconer disclosed that MTN has embarked on many social intervention programs in the Mamfe community.
She expressed her gratitude to Osabarima Nana Ansah Sasraku III and his elders for being kind to the MTN brand over the years.
Efua Falconer promised that MTN will continue to collaborate with the good people of Mamfe for such remarkable occasions.
Chief of Mamfe who doubles as a Kyidomhene of Akuapem Traditional Council, Osabarima Nana Ansah Sasraku III on his part expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the MTN team for vibrant cooperation over the years.
Osabarima Ansah Sasraku III commended MTN Ghana for building a state of the art robotics centre in Mamfe Methodist school to improve the knowledge of students in artificial intelligence.
