The Member of Parliament for the Upper Manya Krobo constituency, Comrade Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, has demonstrated his commitment to community welfare by donating essential items to the local Muslim community during the holy month of Ramadan.
The donation, consisting of six bags of granulated sugar, 24 packets of milk, and a generous quantity of tea packets, was presented to the Muslim community as they observe the period of fasting.
Hon.Bismark Tetteh Nyarko underscored the significance of supporting the Muslim community during Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of collective prayers for peaceful elections and righteous leadership in the upcoming 2024 general election.
The items, intended for distribution among the three Zongo communities in Asesewa, Akateng, and Akateng, were warmly received by Chief Osmanu, the esteemed head of the Zongo communities in the Upper Manya Krobo constituency.
Chief Osmanu expressed heartfelt gratitude for the MP’s consistent efforts in aiding the community, citing previous donations of cement and financial support for community projects.
In a notable display of appreciation, a prominent youth leader, who had previously opposed Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, acknowledged the positive impact of the MP’s assistance.
The youth leader pledged renewed support and vowed to mobilize efforts for the MP’s reelection, recognizing the tangible difference made by his benevolent actions.
The donation ceremony drew the presence of Constituency Executive Members, led by Chairman Alhaji Moro Yakubu Hankuri, showcasing unified backing for MP Bismark Tetteh Nyarko’s compassionate initiatives within the constituency.
