The Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Lower West Akim Constituency of the Eastern Region, Mr.Owen Kwame Frimpong has donated four New lorry Tyres to the Ambulance Service in the West Akyem Municipality.
Four about three months now, the Ambulance is not working due to Defective tyres.
Mr. Owen Kwame Frimpong, after getting the information pledged to rescue the vehicle from being parked and has fulfilled the promise.
Speaking at a brief ceremony to hand over the Tyres, the NDC candidate pledged to support all Institutions in the Municipality to perform their duties accordingly.
He called on People in the Municipality to consider the NDC administration in the December General Elections to take over governance and rescue Citizens and Institutions.
On Tuesday 28 January 2020, President Akufo-Addo commissioned and distributed a total of 307 ambulances procured to aid the National Ambulance Service (NAS) in their operations but investigation indicates that they doesn’t frequently receive fuel coupons so some use to charge family of patience before rendering service.
AEMC Joseph Lamtey, who is in charge of the Municipality Ambulance Service expressed gratitude to the NDC candidate and called for support from others.
