Ark Development Organization (ADO), in partnership with USAID, has initiated a voter mobilization program.
This project aims to encourage active participation in the elections scheduled for December 7, 2024.
On April 25, 2024, ADO held a live radio panel on Bryt 99.1 FM in Koforidua as part of the Voter Mobilization Program, supported by USAID through the International Republican Institute (IRI).
Representatives from the Electoral Commission (EC) and the National Center for Civic Education (NCCE) participated in the discussion, which focused on the voter registration exercise.
Listeners were educated about the requirements for registration and the legal implications of failing to comply with the registration process.
The program also featured a phone-in segment, allowing listeners to ask questions and share their thoughts.
The session concluded with a call to action for eligible voters, especially women and marginalized groups, to take advantage of the registration exercise and participate in national decision-making.
