The official commissioning and handing over ceremony of the reconstructed Appiatse community will come of today, Thursday 3 May, 2024 at 14hours GMT.
The Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources launched the Appiatse Support Fund in 2022 after disaster befalled the Appiatse Community in the Prestea-Huni Valley district of the Western region.
After over two years after the launch, the project has been successfully completed and is expected to be commissioned by President Akufo-Addo.
