Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia says the current value of the Cedi against the Dollar is an improvement compared to the Cedi’s value under the NDC government.
In an interview with AfricaWatch, Dr Bawumia said the value of the Cedi has thrived relatively well under the Akufo-Addo’s government, reiterating his stance on the arrest of the Cedi.
He added that the depreciation of the Cedi has been sustainable, despite the current global economic challenges compared to the administration of the NDC.
