On Friday, 17th May 2024, President Akufo-Addo welcomed the new President of the Republic of Senegal, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, to Jubilee House, the seat of our nation’s presidency.
His visit to Ghana marks a significant milestone in the enduring friendship and cooperation between our two nations.
During President Faye’s visit, the two discussed strengthening our bilateral relations, enhancing economic cooperation, and exploring new avenues for collaboration in various sectors, including trade, education, and technology.
“Our shared commitment to democratic values and regional stability was also a key topic of our dialogue” President Akufo-Addo stressed.
Ghana and Senegal have a rich history of partnership and mutual support, and this visit has further solidified our bonds of brotherhood and shared progress.
