The MCE, Hon. Seth Oduro Boadu with the support of Hon. Charles Acheampong Member of Parliament for Lower West Constituency in the Eastern Region and Gyaasehene of Asamankese, Nana Oppong Adieasa commissioned an overhead tank for the Ghana National Fire Service in Asamankese.
The project which was financed by the Gyaasehene of Asamankese, Nana Oppong Adiease known in private life as Brig. Gen (Rtd) Kwame Oppong-Otchere is to serve the Ghana National Fire Service in fighting fire outbreak in the municipality.
The Hon. MP who constructed the borehole reminded the gathering that he was elected to serve the interest of the people of Lower West Akim Constituency hence his constant engagement with all the relevant institutions and stakeholders.
He assured them that, his doors were always opened to support them in carrying out their mandate.
The Hon. MCE expressed his gratitude to the Hon. MP and Gyaasehene for the drilling of the borehole and the construction of the overhead tank respectively.
He entreated the officers to take good care of the facility so that the people of West Akim could reap the full benefit of it.
