Parliament has held a one-day seminar for level 300 students of the Department of Social Work, University of Ghana-Legon.
Topics treated included the History of the Legislature, Functions of Parliament, Legislative Process, How a Bill becomes law, the Role of a Member of Parliament and the Workings of the Committee System.
The students took the opportunity to observe proceedings in the chamber.
