The family of the late Ms. Matilda Owusua, 22, has announced the burial and final funeral arrangements for their beloved daughter.
Matilda who recently completed her studies at UPSA Law School will be laid to rest in her hometown, Akyem Asuom in Kwaebibirem District of Eastern Region, this weekend.
A Candlelight Procession will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, in her honor.
On Saturday, August 24, 2024, her body will be laid in state for a file past at the Asuom Presby Primary A, B, C School premises, starting from 4:00 AM.
The late Matilda was an alumna of Asuom Senior High School, where she served as the Girls’ Prefect in 2020.
Additionally, she was a beneficiary of the Serendiplam Scholarship program in 2021.
Tragically, Matilda passed away after a short illness in the late hours of July 13 this year.
