Jinapor hosted a high-level delegation from Newmont Corporation, led by its President and CEO, Mr. Tom Palmer, at the Ministry. The meeting served as a platform for discussions surrounding Newmont’s operations and ongoing investments in Ghana.
Mr. Palmer expressed the company’s gratitude for the government’s unwavering support, particularly regarding the new mine in Ahafo, which has been key to advancing their operations.

Newmont is renowned for operating the largest gold mine in the country, located in Ahafo in the Ahafo Region, is currently constructing another significant mine in the same region.
