Popular Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah commonly known as Shatta Wale has advised Ghanaians to be extra vigilant and vote wisely.
Shatta Wale made this assertion during his performance at the much awaited Ghana Report Concert at Independence Square.
Shatta Wale stopped his upbeat show to speak with his supporters, advising them to exercise caution and not make snap decisions when casting their ballots.
He cautioned his supporters not to be duped by political gimmicks and hollow promises that political parties frequently employ to win over people.
“If you’re going to vote, please be wise about it. Don’t fall for any fanfooling. I don’t want you to vote for some party and later come complaining. Vote wisely.”
Before casting their ballots, Shatta Wale, who has consistently taken a politically impartial stance, advised his followers to evaluate the platforms and voting histories of political candidates.
He pleaded with them to think for the good of the nation while making decisions, not just to go with the flow or give in to empty promises.
