Wife for the Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Madam Samira Bawumia has said the Party has been Fair to Muslims in the Country since the formation of the Party.
According to her, the Party does not discriminate in terms of ethnicity, appointment and job to Ghanaians.
Speaking at a separate durbar at Adeiso and Asamankese in the Eastern Region during her tour to the region, Samira Bawumia said many Muslims have occupied top positions in the party since it establishment and currently,the Party has considered her husband as Presidential candidates which she said is a great honour.
The Second lady called on Ghanaians to consider her husband as next President for the Country to continue uncompleted projects and initiate new ones to move the Country forward.
She said “Bawumia does not need power for his selfish interest,that is not his character.You don’t know him well as I do. The man is a good man. He has a good and pure heart,Care for people, intelligent and a great man. He always think of bold policies and solutions to move Ghana forward.”
She said Ghana need a committed leader with ideas to serve the Country not himself and a leader who will dedicate his life, knowledge and skills for the Country.
Samira Bawumia said the next NPP administration will set up special Bank for Small and Medium Enterprises to support women because they are key to the Economy growth and better life.
She said Dr. Bawumia is ready to train over one million Ghanaian Youth in Information Communication Technology related jobs for the Youth to address unemployment.
Samira Bawumia pledged to pay regular visit to the people in the Constituencies to get first hand information to support the next NPP administration to deal with the needs of the voters.
