Allegations by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the MP for North Tongu that the daughters of President Akufo-Addo have been involved in illegal mining (Galamsey) has been dismissed by the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources.
According to ministry, the president’s daughter is not connected to such activities and that, the issues are false and lacks credibility.
The ministry also explained that, allegations raised against the president’s family members were all politically motivated and therefore urged the public to disregard them.
This was disclosed in a press statement issued by the ministry.
