A long serving member of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Charles Kwarteng from Somanya Constituency has gone missing on a campaign tour in and around a village called Sikaben in the Eastern Region.
According to report, Charles left home for a campaign tour on 14th of June, 2023 and did not return home.
Snippets of information indicate that Charles Kwarteng’s missing is as a result of him laying down his role as a communication member, a member of the campaign team and changing his support for Mr. Kwabena Adjei Agyepong, a presidential candidate and in the Somanya Constituency to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice president of Ghana.
Again, the town Charles visited for the campaign is understood to be a stronghold of the largest opposition party NDC which according to report, could be the another possible reason for his missing.
