Kojo Yankah, a former state minister during the administration of Jerry John Rawlings, has voiced his displeasure with Ghana’s growing cost of living.
“The cost of living is choking and is now a worry for especially pensioners,” he wrote in a social media post.
He argues that the elderly lifestyles of his colleagues who receive less than GHC 1000 are concerning.
“The truth is that the cost of living in Ghana right now is choking,” Kojo Yankah wrote in a social media post.
“l can’t look at the face of a fellow pensioner. I don’t know what to tell those receiving below 1,000cedis a month (the cost of fuel to my village). It’s not funny any more; seriously!” He stated.
