The Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress in the Lower West Akim Constituency in the Eastern Region,Mr. Owen Kwame Frimpong has pledged to lobby for permanent office for Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority in Asamankese to create jobs for the Youth in the Area when he get the chance to become Member of Parliament.
Mr. Kwame Frimpong added that most drivers travel far to Akim Oda and Koforidua to renew or secure license and spend money and time before they get license but if he lobby for the permanent office, drivers will save money.
Speaking during debate for Parliamentary Candidate in lower West Akim Constituency organized by the National Commission for Civic Education at Asamankese,Mr. Owen Kwame Frimpong promised to bring permanent office of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust in Asamankese to support employers who travel to Kade for services.
He also vowed to lobby for College of Education in the Constituency to create jobs for the Youth and admit students in the area to reach higher level in Education.
Mr. Kwame Frimpong said he has so far supported about 300 Youth in the Constituency into Technical and Vocational skills Training including Mechanics, Hairdressers, Dressmakers and others.
He added that, “Today,there is an NPP member here who can testify. I have ten acre of land at Birika and I have electrified the site for a factory and another land on Asamankese Accra road for manufacturing company under 24 Hour Economy. We will soon machineries, motorbikes,aboboyaa and distribute in Eastern Region from lower West Akim. As I speak with you, they surveyors are in town and NPP people can testify.”
The candidate assured the people in the Constituency that he will work hard to leave a legacy and called on eligible voters to vote for him and John Dramani Mahama to become President of Ghana.
