NDC Parliamentary candidate for New Juaben north Samuel Adongo is optimistic the party will win the seat for the first time after 28 years of Ghana’s democratic rule.
He was of the view that, the NDC has been vibrant in the constituency nowadays due to neglect by NPP’s successive MPs in terms of infrastructural development.
Mr. Adongo disclosed this at the party’s office in Effiduase when a party member in the US, Felix Ababio presented office equipment and a cash amount to furnish the party’s newly acquired office and also support the ongoing campaign.
Constituency chairman Osei Agyeman-Duah commended Felix Ababio for the donation and used the opportunity to appeal to other party members to support in furnishing the office and other activities of the party as it gear up for the December 7 polls.
He again called on party members to work hard by campaigning to ensure victory for the parliamentary candidate and the flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
However, Atta Owusu Sekyere, who presented the equipment on behalf of Felix Ababio was grateful to the latter for his benevolence and was optimistic it would help the party in the constituency deliver as far as political activities are concerned.
He also called on others to emulate the kind gesture of Felix Ababio and support the party in its activities at all times.
