Former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah assured Ghanaians that John Dramani Mahama’s administration would function as a task force.
They have accepted the Ghanaian people’s offer to lead and produce results, and that is what they plan to do, he said.
According to Julius Debrah, they are results-driven and will benefit the Ghanaian people regardless of the lean administration they choose to lead.
He clarified that since agro-processing is crucial, that will be their main area of attention.
In an interview with Joy News, Mr. Debrah made this assertion.
“The joy of having the mandate and being able to make things happen is resonating with me. I am so excited about President Mahama’s new direction and believe me, campaigning is over, the rhetorics are over, and we are going to deliver. When I say we are going to deliver I mean what I am saying and that is what is making me so happy. We are getting the opportunity, the people mandate to prove a point to create jobs, bring up industries and to expand our agro-processing and I can bet on it,” he said.
Regarding their government’s pledge of 60 ministers, he said it is feasible since, similar to Ghana, the United States has a small number of ministers who manage to make things happen.
“This government is going to run like a task force where we set the task and achieve it. Believe you me, with the limited number of sixty, we will follow it and make it work that you’ll be so impressed,” he told Joy News.
