The Deputy Constituency women’s Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, in New Juaben South Kate Valaria Bedjaben has presented food items and beverages to 146 branch women organizers in the constituency.
Valeria Bedjaben who doubles as an Assembly Member for Residential Electoral Area also donated to 65 aged women in her electoral area.
Most of the beneficiaries are Muslims.
According to Kate Valeria Bedjaben, the donation is part of his window’s mite to support Muslim women in the constituency in particular as they observe the Holy Ramadan.
Again she said, the Coronavirus pandemic has affected livelihoods therefore the donation was to cushion the beneficiary families.
She urged the Muslim women to use the month of Ramadan pray for Allah’s intervention to end the deadly coronavirus disease in the country.
She also asked them to pray to Allah for a peaceful election in December this year.
