The President of the Ghana Registered Nurses’ & Midwives’ Association – GRNMA, Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, today paid a courtesy call on the Acting Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Prof. Samuel Kaba Akoriyea, to congratulate him on his appointment and discuss areas of collaboration to strengthen Ghana’s healthcare system.
The visit aimed to reaffirm GRNMA’s commitment to working closely with the Service to enhance the welfare of nurses and midwives, improve working conditions, and address key challenges in the healthcare sector.
She was accompanied by the 1st Vice President, Mr. Samuel Alagkora Akologo; the General Secretary, Dr. David Tenkorang-Twum; the Assistant General Secretary, Mr. Anthony Sopaal; and the Assistant Public Relations Officer, Mr. Philemon Gyapong.
Also in attendance was the Director for Nursing and Midwifery Services at the GHS, Mrs. Eva Mensah.
