The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has welcomed the Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Roey Gilad, to Parliament. The meeting aimed to explore opportunities to strengthen diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Participating in the discussions with the delegation were the Hon. Majority Leader -Mahama Ayariga; Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Hon. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuye; Deputy Ranking Member for the Foreign Affairs Committee, Hon. Nana Asafo Adjei Ayeh; Clerk to Parliament, Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, and other officials from the Parliamentary Service.
Speaker Bagbin affirmed Parliament’s commitment to promoting bilateral cooperation and exploring opportunities for mutual growth and development.
