As part of Divine Mother and Child Foundation’s effort to improve youth access to quality services, it joined forces with AJ Wills media and Tech farm hub to train young entrepeneurs in digital and financial literacy
The digital training was facilitated by Jones Amarteifio, CEO of Eastern Tech Hub who highlighted the importance of digital literacy in the lives of young entreprenuers .
He exposed the participants to digital tools they can utilize to maximize visibility of their products and services to wide range of customers and potential clients and investors.
Participants learnt how to harness the power of social media, ecommerce platforms, and automation tools to scale their businesses, expand their audience reach and maintain competitiveness in the digital landscape.
The session provided valuable insights into leveraging digital tools to drive business growth and sustainability.
The financial literacy session was facilitated by AJ Willz, a brand consultant and strategist.
He offered a comprehensive exploration of budgeting, record-keeping, cash flow management, and financial statement analysis.
Edmund Duodu, Founder of Divine Mother and Child Foundation, added that as young entrepreneurs, they should have a registered business name and register with the Ghana Revenue Authority, and also endeavor to pay SSNIT contributions.
He shared his entrepreneurial journey with the young entrepreneurs, providing valuable insights. The session was interactive, with participants asking questions that were answered by the facilitators, bringing the first day of the program to a successful close.
The second day of the program was facilitated by Amanda Dufe and BT Amoatey, project leads at Tech Farm Hub.
They delivered an engaging session, empowering participants with practical knowledge on leveraging Google Sheets to streamline business operations and track expenses effectively.
The session equipped entrepreneurs with valuable tools to enhance their financial management and decision-making capabilities.
The program ended on a celebratory note, with outstanding entrepreneurs receiving well-deserved awards, recognizing their achievements.
