Former NPP presidential candidate, Kennedy Agyapong, has warned the party that a new confrontation is in store for them in 2027.
He claims that in advance of the party’s internal procedures leading up to the general elections in 2028, he is ready to show them where power resides.
The vocal politician stated on Net2 TV that he is not scared by any members of the party and that he plans to exert his influence during the election of new executives.
“I will bring the NPP to its knees in June or July 2027,” he said.
He went on to say that he anticipates significant political activity within the party as it gets ready for internal elections to choose leaders before the national elections.
Kennedy Agyapong also addressed criticism he received from party members on his recent remarks about the Afari Military Hospital project and the way a minority parliamentary tour of the facility was conducted.
He was adamant that he would not permit himself to be discredited or weakened within the party.
“I am not stupid. Don’t toy with my intelligence,” he said.
