President John Dramani Mahama held a Presidential Dialogue with Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), reaffirming his administration’s commitment to inclusive, participatory, and accountable governance.
The President recognised the critical role of CSOs in strengthening democratic institutions, noting that their advocacy, research, community engagement, and watchdog functions remain indispensable to national development. He emphasised that national transformation cannot be achieved by government alone, but requires the collective effort of all segments of society.
President Mahama further indicated that Government is currently examining the recommendations of the Constitutional Review Committee as part of ongoing efforts to deepen governance reforms.
He reiterated that transparency and accountability remain central to his administration’s governance agenda, and assured of sustained engagement with civil society in advancing Ghana’s democratic and development priorities.
