The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, received a generous donation of GHS 100,000 from the National Lottery Authority’s Good Causes Foundation to support victims of the recent tidal waves in the Volta Region’s coastal communities.
This timely contribution is a testament to the NLA’s commitment to national service, demonstrating their willingness to go beyond their core mandate to support those in need.
The funds will be used to provide emergency relief, including shelter, food, and clothing, to displaced families in Agavedzi, Asalakope, and Amutsinu.
The regional minister expressed heartfelt gratitude to the NLA and its Director-General, Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam, for their solidarity and impactful gesture, uniting efforts to rebuild lives and restore hope in the affected communities.
