Hon. Ransford Boakye, the mayor of New Juaben South, has stated emphatically that he will work of the deplorable roads in the Zongo community in the municipality.
According to him, the state of roads in the community is very bad and it’s time it gets done.
“The status of the roads in the Zongo community is so awful that if someone commutes on that road, they would spend more than 20 minutes getting to town or the community, which is unacceptable. I promise to fix the road soon.”.
He made this assertion during an interview with Kwamina Sam Biney on Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem where the Mayor was the invited guest.
Hon. Boakye added that, in his quest to fix the road soon doesn’t mean he will tackle it abysmally but rather fix it well so that it takes years to be fixed again.
“I want to fix the road so perfectly that it will take years for another Mayor to touch it again. Our brothers and sisters in that area deserve good roads, and that’s what I want to provide for them” he asserted.
