Agona East – Kyidomhene of the Agona Traditional Council and also the Chief of Agona Kwanyako Nana Dr Ampim Darkoh(V) have been Honoured with a Burst(Statue) by the Management of Kwanyako Senior High Technical School in his community over his toil, contribution and effort towards the establishment, growth and development.
According to them, the Chief has played a vital role hence their decision to honour him now that he’s alive with a Burst(Statue).
At a colourful ceremony in the school, the Burst(Statue) was uneveiled to serve as a rememberance of his toil and effort when the school needed lands to expand developmental projects.
Accepting the Honour, Nana Dr Ampim Darkoh(V), Chief of the Agona Kwanyako Community commended the School authorities for recognizing his efforts and advice students to emulate it and do same.
Meanwhile, a former PRO – Vice Chancellor at the University of Cape Coast Prof George Oduro have Eulogised the school authorities for such a wonderful decision urging all Ghanaians to consider being patriotic and sacrificial to their respective communities and societies.
