Ghanaians have been called upon to ensure they make priotise their health by keeping their surroundings and the environment clean.
According to the New Juaben North MCE, Samuel Adongo, keeping the environment clean leads to good health as most diseases and infections are related to poor hygienic conditions.

Speaking at the National Sanitation exercise event held last Saturday, the MCE mentioned malaria, typhoid, cholera and many other infections as some of the results associated with poor hygiene.
The MCE commended the people within the municipality, traditional and religious leaders for their support since the initiative was launched by the president, John Dramani Mahama.
He, however, cautioned those who flout sanitation by-laws to turn a new leave as perpetrators will be dealt with in the coming year.

The main event was held at Akwadum with the MCE in attendance while all the other electoral areas were also led by their Assembly Members and opinion leaders.
