Member of the NPP Regional Communication Team, Ernest Kwaku Boateng has accused former Minister Frimpong Boateng of being strategically hired by the NDC to disgrace the New Patriotic Party.
Speaking to Kwamina Sam Biney on Bryt adekye Mu Nsem, Ernest Kwaku Boateng questioned Frimpong Boateng’s credibility, saying, “Who’s Frimpong Boateng, he’s a party member and the same party that he’s calling fake is the same party that made him a minister. Why didn’t he sit at Korle Bu to do his cardiothoracic surgery?.”
He claimed the alleged smear campaign was motivated by Frimpong Boateng’s own legal troubles. “Because of the corrupt nature of Frimpong Boateng, it is a strategy that he has been hired by NDC to go say those things about the NPP party for them to drop his case,” he alleged.
He linked the former Minister to past illegal activities, stating, “His excavators were part of seized excavators”, and he’s part of those that has been set for prosecution and promised to drop his case if he’s able to bring division into the NPP.” He asserted.
According to the NPP communications official, plans to create a division within the party were revealed in 2024. “It was revealed in 2024 that because of the corruption of some NPP leaders, they will be hired to bring division into the party and we were referring to Frimpong Boateng,” he said.
