An unidentified man has been found dead at Tease the District Capital of Afram Plains South in the Eastern Region.
The body of the deceased who was in his 60’s was found at the Market Center raising fear that he might have died from Coronavirus.
However, Personnel from NADMO, Police, Environment, and Public Health Unit of the Ghana Health Service who went to the scene after taken inventories and examining the body ruled out Covid-19 Suspicion and gave the green light for his burial which was immediately done.
Some residents told mybrytfmonline.com that before the death of the man, he confided that he came to the area some four months ago looking for his unidentified daughter who is married to a man in the community, to send him to the hospital since he was sick but he alleged the daughter refused to pick his calls since his arrival four months ago adding that she even blacklisted his number.
The stranded destitute old man according to the residents couldn’t return to his village in the same District but roamed in the community, begged for alms, and slept at the market center before his death.
